Demonstrative adjectives are words used in place of articles to indicate a specific noun. In French, they must agree in gender and number with the noun they modify. There are four demonstrative adjectives: Ce , Cet , Cette (this, that) and Ces (these, those)                                     Ce is used before a masculine singular noun starting with a consonant (all other alphabets other than vowels a, e, i, o, u): Ex.:    Ce professeur parle trop. - This (That) teacher talks too much.           J'aime ce livre. - I like this (that) book.
